Yep UFC 179 would be cancelled. The UFC would be scared to have cub vs Mendes, 2 non Brazilians in brazil. Not sure why as I'm sure the people of brazil would still watch the fight.

Thats true but the Aldo vs Mendes fight orginally had odds for them and it is October today and the fight is this month. If UFC tonight is on today maybe we'll find out if something happened to the fight. This would be terrible for the UFC if another event got cancelled this year.
