Agree, Disagree or other?
Even women don't like women's sports outside of playing themselves.Although there are sporadic fights that are somewhat entertaining, overall I think WMMA has been a huge flop. There’s just not enough talent. And even if there were a lot of talented women out there, the majority of men don’t enjoy watching women compete in sports. It’s a simple as that.
Their champ got bored winning and retired. Aldana put on a pathetic display. Hunched over looking through her fingers and didn't throw a single strike. How people thought she had a chance when she got out grappled and dominated by Holly Holm is beyond me.Although there are sporadic fights that are somewhat entertaining, overall I think WMMA has been a huge flop. I'm not against them having their own league. I just don't like that they fight on the men's card. Someone said on another thread it's like having to watch a WNBA game before the NBA game. I agree with that take. There are a few talented women here and there but it falls so far short of the men.Although there are sporadic fights that are somewhat entertaining, overall I think WMMA has been a huge flop. Overall it's horrible, but it's part of the business model now. It keeps them from getting cancelled, it allows them to fill slots on each event much cheaper on average, and gives them more options for each event.

I'd love to know the statistics of what percentage of fights go to decision. Difference in strikes landed per minute, knockdowns in a fight, etc.
