I'm not arguing against any of that. I'm just wary of anytime a small grass roots charity ends up with big corporate backers. More often than not what happens is the charity gets big...they end up getting taken over by corporate executives...and they go from given 90 cents of every dollar to actually aid and scholarships down to 30 and a board of rich executive directors get rich off of folks who think they're making a difference. Call me a cynical old man all you want...but you go find records on this bigger charities that show exactly what I'm talking about happens over and over again. I'm not going to apologize for thinking it's wrong or for thinking it's going to happen again...history repeats itself.
