Is adderall allowed to be used if the fighter has been diagnosed with ADHD? Its allowed in MLB if prescribed by a Doc. A MLB manager said this season that a majority of his team was on it, obviously a workaround to take amphetamines and not get popped because of the grueling season. Anyone have any info on this?

if you have trouble paying attention while someone is punching you in the face, then you shouldn't be fighting.

Great question. I'm sure some fighters use it though. I'd like to know more as well.

Its not just that it makes you pay attention but makes you more focused and confident.

Its really not hard to see why some fighters would take it.

My understanding is that it is banned by some local ACs and not by others. Don't know about an official UFC policy, though.

Yeah, would definitely help a lot, would make you more aggressive, too.

Amphetamines eat away muscle

if abused yes. Do pre-workout drinks eat away muscle? They are glorified amphetamine replacements. Hell whatever is currently in them usually gets banned every few years and the manufacturers find some other component.

Hahaha, I agree. I think it's s bit different in the MLB where you play almost everyday compared to having roughly one extreme high pressure fight every four months.

I'll be honest. The reason I ask is I've been taking a small dose 10mg a day for the past two years and the training benefits have been very noticeable. It has allowed me to get into that flow state in almost a daily basis. Everything Tankeray has said I agree with wholeheartedly.

damn you guys are noobs Tim Credeur once tested positive for Adderall 5 days before a fight in the UFC and the match was scrapped.

Did he have a script from a doc saying he needed it. Also did he report it to the commission?

Did he have a prescription? I think that's the crux of TS question.

Dude I take 60mgs on sparring day. I notice fast twitches and do some kung fu matrix type shit on people. No lie.

Similar to TRT when it was allowed. If following the orders of a Dr. and reporting you need it for a medical condition is it allowed? Is that simple enough for you.

Yep... It's definitely a mental performance enhancer.
