If you're big on social media you've probably come across Adams Boxing at some point. People are beginning to buzz about his shoes and for good reason. I wanted to do this review for any of you who may come across it but may be weary without actually ever seeing anyone wear them because they are a limited shoe. He only makes about 100-150 at a time and they go rather quickly.
First Impression:
Well it took quite a long time for me to get the shoes only because the post office must have wanted to make my life difficult. It took me about a month to receive them because the post office messed up trying to deliver them to my house and sent them back to him. Out of the box the shoes were absurdly comfortable. The leather is soft, the suede was smooth everything about the shoe was great. Not to mention they're a sharp looking boxing shoe.
Performance:
The shoes really do perform well. The traction on the bottom allows you to pivot and slide but you're still able to plant down and dig those hard shots when you need to. The ankle support is top notch with the strap there for security. If I was going to have any complaint about them is that I think the inside material is so soft to the point where it kind of feels not secure enough? I'm the type who prefers that snug almost tight feeling in my shoes and I just don't get that here. The good thing is that I've learned to look past that because these shoes have just been that good. You can wear them laced up to the top, you can wear them as a low top if you fold them down which I think I prefer a little bit. The one thing that did happen that's a negative is that the stitching came out a little bit on one of the shoes which isn't the biggest deal I just melted them so they wouldn't come out again you can see in the pictures if you look closely at the bottom of the shoe.
Overall:
These are the best boxing shoes you're going to find period. Better than the Hyper Ko's or any of the Adidas you'll find. It's just that plain and simple.
