Well its 56 percent VS 14 percent for Democrats. Its not even close Republicans completely dominate the landscape of top money. Democrats cannot even rely of Warren Buffett to carry the day in donated apparently less than a million dollars to campaigns. When you weigh the wealth of families Republicans can call on a majority of the wealthiest families for campaign contributions. The Koch brothers are the dark money kings with hundreds of millions of dollars at their disposal.
Here is the list of the wealthiest families and their political bend. I am surprised that Bill Gates is not listed he is over 60 billion dollars just him alone.
1. Walton – Republican
2. Koch – Republican
3. Mars – Republican
4. Cargill-MacMillan – Republican
5. Johnson (Fidelity) – Republican
6. Hearst – Republican
7. Cox – Democrat
Now you see why they want to get rid of the unions.
