That was the rumour but apparently it's not happening. I think Evloev's team turned it down.

I do think that he should get a ranked opponent right away, but probably not Top 3 like Evloev. Maybe Calvin Kattar or Josh Emmett?

I would say depends where they think he's at but apparently that Movsar fight was talked about so that would tell me they are high on him and are gonna throw him into a big fight.

WIth that said I could see Sterling being that opponent for either Newark or int fight week. Top 10 guy, former champ, UFC never loved him so if he can take Sterling out the UFC would love that.

If they want to slow it down a little bit maybe Kattar who is on his way out of the rankings, you can see if he puts Kattar to sleep.
