So I'm an alcoholic. sure. Anyways the problem I've been having is there used to be a liquor store every 3 blocks here.

Now they have it on doordash.. All I have to do to get booze is open my phone and it'll get here quicker than me taking a trip to the store.

This may seem convenient for some but for my reckoning starting soon it will be my ultimate temptation. The only way to avoid it I think is to put my I.D. through my paper shredder because they have to scan it.

My girl is an alcoholic and it's a pain to deal with. When we were younger she could drink whatever and still function but she's abused it for so many years, she gets one of her beat boxes and it's not like she's drunk anymore, but she enters a psychosis. The shitty part is she has no memory of how she is nor does she want to get sober.

Back in the day you could call a cab company to go for a booze and smoke run for you at pretty much any hour. You paid a chunky premium but if your crew was wasted and couldn't venture out, this was how you kept the party going!

Look on the bright side, less DUI's. You should be happy. My guess is, you're a nasty bitter drunk.

Sounds rough.

Reminds me of walking through a grocery store when I was trying to cut out junk food. The entire store is one big temptation. Even as you approach the checkout there's like 5 last-ditch efforts to get you to buy at least one bag of chips or chocolate.

So, your problem isn't the alcohol, it's just running out of alcohol?

...just buy more alcohol and stock up.

Use self checkout.

My buddy could call a cab back in the day and he'd have smokes, weed, booze and cocaine in the back. That's just what he tells me though but I believe him.

Walk to the store. No matter what exercise is key. Never settle for anything that doesn't involve exercise. Little by little the exercise will benefit you then start cutting back on the booze. You dont need stupid counseling or anything just exercise and dial it back. If you are drinking a pint slowly introduce light beer and get off that crap.
