*He threw 3 main events when fans paid hard earned money to watch him as the champ defend his belt. (Mai, Canadian guy, Weidman) Dana even refused to put the belt on him after the Mai debacle.

*He ducked Weidman for over and year calling him a boy and saying he was done for the year only to jump up to fight the almighty Bonnar instead of defending his belt against a top wrestler.

*He did everything possible to duck Sonnen the 2nd time around and was forced to fight him by thge UFC after months of saying he wouldn't fight him all because of Sonnen's disrespect which was to sell the fight by Sonnen.

*He got caught cheating and failed for banned substances once USADA came at large.

*He tried to ban all Brazilian fighters from being able to fight one another the minute that he had the belt where none of them would have had a chance to compete for a belt at 185. (Only convenient for him)

This latest "take your ball and go home" routine is nothing new from him, and par the course for how this guy has behaved in the sport. He has never been about the fans, and only did things when it benefitted him no matter how many fighters it screwed over.

Hopefully he is gone for good this time.

Mai?

As in Mai Shiranui?

Sounds allot like another popular fighter we know

Always thought Silva was racist, especially the way he's treated and acted towards white fighters

He's a low life and I was thrilled after waiting patiently for years for someone to clean his clock like Weidman did, the leg break was even better

Trying to call Dana's bluff isn't going to work.. He can retire if he wants

One of the biggest phonies/fakes in the sport. Disrespectful idiot, I wouldn't care about him either way

And the fact that he lost twice to Weidman showed exactly why he ran from Weidman for as long as he did. Any time a wrestler came into the discussion for him to fight, he came up with every excuse to shy away from it or to negotiate things that would never happen.

He was the first guy ever to trounce around cherry picking his opponents way before the Conors, Aldo's and Woodleys of the world.

Maia was just as responsible for that performance. That is why I want Masvidal to win.

Even when he acted like a brat, even when he lost, it was still more interesting for me than watching guys who win 10-9 rounds.

WTF? Lol!

He could have just wasted Mai in spectacular fascion, but he chose to screw over the entire event. He never gave a fuck about the paying fans from PPV or the box office. I never understood why fans continued to support him.

Stop lying you dumb fuck, he fought Bonnar to save a card in Brazil. Why would he duck Weidman? He ended up fighting him or not?

@BC get the tables

@Threetrees in the meantime report this dude.

The second he lost he was never that good. Remember that.

Also, please remember Weidman Middleweight GOAT.

Anyone saying Silva "threw" the fight against Weidman doesn't understand anything about the dynamic of that fight.

Anderson knew he didn't have a chance if he tried to lead against The Chris, and therefore he had to get The Chris to come forward - and the more reckless the better. Weedman stayed on top of his stance at all times and slowly edged forwards instead, and that's why Silva was trying to agitate him.

He was fighting a losing fight from the start since The Chris was sticking to the gameplan. That's why he had to play every possible card he had to get Chris to overcommit and rush in.

It is hard to finish someone with Anderson's style when they do not attack.

Don't have to lie. He refused Weidman all year and him and his camp said Weidman wasn't a worthy contender. There are videos online that still exist that prove this. They shut down Anderson for the rest of the year thinking Weidman would fight someone else, and Weidman just waited. Silva claimed he wouldn't fight the rest of that year, and then up and behold jumped up and raised his hand to fight a 40 year old Bonnar who had recently been caught for PED's or something like that. IT was the biggest chicken shit move any belt holder had ever pulled at that time.

Anderson had never gave a damn about saving any cards. That whole theory was always hilarious
