Anyone else watch these? Overall I think they're well done, I enjoy the historical, sometimes rare footage and interviews with people involved and in the know.

Some things I can't stand.
1. Freddy Prince Jr hosting and saying shit like Hogan/Andre was the first big rivalry in WWE history.
2. Stephanie McMahon putting herself over and constantly reminding us she was best friends with Andre the Giant
3. JBL pretending to be a huge mark despite being a locker room bully and sexual deviant.
4. Booker T (and other panelists) having nothing of value to say.
5. Having to hear Jake the Snake's story again. I realize it's an amazing story but this is like the fifth time it's been documented since Beyond the Mat.

Lmao sexual deviant. How have I not heard these stories before?

Also I can’t stand Booker T as a commentator on anything. He never says anything remarkable. Just wasted breaths of air imo.

Yeah I remember hearing some stories from the Hardys and/or Edge about him jostling balls and grabbing ass in the showers.

At least it's better than the WWE's revisionist history of the Monday Night War.

I wouldnt look for anything WWE produces to be historically accurate, best to just enjoy the memories and the beautiful production if you can, I liked the NWO show but the Hogan-Andre piece that came on after was so ridiculous I had to tune it out

How is JBL a sexual deviant?
Probably a poor choice of words on my part but...

The story goes that JBL would walk in on new wrestlers while they were showering, and he would start soaping and caressing their bodies, mostly their butts. If they were freaked out or if they said something, they would be labeled as a "prima donna."

Funny I was headed here to post a similar thread.

I've been enjoying these a lot, both the Legends and the Rivals show have been pretty great.

I'm big on wrestling history shows though, Dark Side of the Ring, these, Tales from the Territories, all been good watches imo.

Boys will be boys

Yeah, sounds like something an American would do...

Bet he didn’t do that to likes of Shamrock, Blackman etc.

Heard he did it to Duke the Dumpster and got chinned (other versions say JBL shoved a bar of soap up his ass, because he was “Jannettying” some female fans).

Any doc made with WWE cooperation is going to be utter bullshit. WWE cannot stop lying and come close to telling the truth on any subject. They will kayfabe the time of day. The only value is their tape library.

I wouldn't mind a hot guy giving me a scrub down, but JBL is not on the list.
