Lets not act like he's a can now guys -- the vast majority of sherbros were on his nuts. Show some respect to Kattar for beating a guy that most thought he'd lose to. The fact that Kattar came off of that historic beatdown by Max, then came in here and marched down one of the greatest kickboxers in the UFC for 5 rounds and beat the shit out of him shows you how mentally strong this guy is.

Props to Calvin

All you giga fans, keep your chin up, he's still good and he'll be back.

I thought Giga could streamrolled his way up, also I don't know how would Kattar coming back mentally from Max

That's recency bias and hype for you.

Our last memory of Kattar was him getting the shit kicked out of him.

Meanwhile Chikadze was on a 7 fight win streak. Now Kattar has some hype and Chikadze was never any good. Is normal.

Admit I picked giga. Didn't think he would gas so soon and pretty much stop throwing kicks at all.. Props to Kattar though, I am more of a fan of him

I think Giga is still capable of being a top contender but he definitely needs to work on fighting off the back foot and his stand ups /defensive grappling. Bulking up a bit might help too as he looked quite outsized by Calvin.

Call me a monday-morning quarterback but I never saw Giga to be this world beater tbh. Beating Barboza in 2021 at FW doesn't just throw you into the P4P list, with all due respect.

He is a great fighter undoubtably and even in a loss showed that he is a beast, but I feel like Sherdoggers latch onto fresh faces and new blood to fast. I lke Giga and I like watching him fight, but his grappling was always suspect and so was his gastank, esp. with how heavy he tends to throw his hands. I personally think he'll always struggle against the elite of the division but hey, you never know what a loss can do to someone.

I picked CK but I thought it was gonna be much closer and not end in a decision. Anyways, Giger's a good addition to the division.

It's one of the most frustrating aspects of this sport man. All the negativity and disparagement any fighter that has lost has to go through is ridiculous. It's almost like it's impossible for MMA fans to celebrate winners-- we need to shit on the losers instead.

Didn't vote and didn't watch the fight, but it sounds like it was very good. Happy for Kattar, glad he bounced back strong.
