That was insane. Had to break his orbital as a strategy because it wasn’t getting stopped any other way.

That shaved years off Yahya’s life but holy shit that dude is a warrior. He got dropped 8 times and kept coming up. Still wanted to go with a broken orbital too. This is very Kris Moutinho’esque but even worse

Horrible stoppage but he used the cage to get up so it’s kind of a tough spot. Tbh, I would have let it go personally though regardless because you can’t win in that one.

I wish today’s reffing style was applied to that fight.

No but he set a ufc record by dropping a guy 8 times. Fight only got stopped due to damage and what was likely a broken orbital.

Pretty wild tbh.

the age old "no 3 knockdown rule in effect" - at least in boxing anyways

remember when pacquaio dropped marquez 3 times in the first round of their first match - then went on to get a draw.
