The good ol' "six months of training takedown defense".

Obviously he would have to learn how to defend kicks, too, but those are pretty easy to defend.

He has as much chance of beating Ngannou in an MMA fight as Ngannou has of beating him in boxing. Ironically in both situations it would have to be a knockout.

Even in MMA boxers would need to adapt their striking style. Even Alex Pereira and aadesanya needed time to adjust to the smaller gloves.

Looking at his ass id say he cant even beat him in boxing lol

but we all know better here. so I cant say no here

Id say the odds are just as steep to the guy in his comfort zone
mma - frank is big fav
box - tyson is big fav

can either win in both? - 100% yes

HW equalizer power is real

I think Ngannou has more chance in boxing personally, not a big chance but really a green Fury would just be taken down nearly instantly and pounded on in MMA, he'd basically have to catch Francis coming in almost right away.

Ngannou has a much better chance of knocking Fury out in a boxing match brah

Fury beats Francis easily in an MMA match. Francis is so slow in comparison. Watch Anderson Silva vs Forrest Griffen to see how it goes.

Of course not
He would never fight inside a cage in a million years, unless his only other option was fighting usyk, then I think he would run to the cage

Guy is a slabber and a duck and not worth talking about. The only good thing with the circus fight, is Frank gets a good pay day and has the opportunity to box in a 'big' event. Frank is a good dude unlike the other guy

It's not about a thing or the other being easy to defend, it's about what happens when all these new threats are mixed together and any of them can come at any time. All your boxing skills, your hard earned muscle memory, the movement drilled 10000 times become useless because they rely on you doing them without thinking.

All of sudden at each punch you need you to think about the potential TD, each step you need to consider if you are at risk of a leg kick or an oblique kick, each head movement if you are going to eat a knee or a head kick. Until you have actually drilled these MMA situations many many times, you just can't perform well in them, it goes too fast.
