Well the UFC are definitely gonna try to get Islam on that Abu Dhabi card no matter what, they've been saving him and Khamzat to fight on that card for over half a year now.
The issue is outside of Oliveira there really isn't anyone else available for that date now that Beneil just lost.

I also doubt the Poirier/Gaethje 2 winner would be willing to make that quick of a turnaround so that just leaves us with a possible Volkanovski rematch if he wins tonight.

They didn't seem to high on Beneil being in a title fight in the first place a few months ago even if he was the most deserving before losing to Oliveira lol.
Unless it's on extremely short notice and their only option, I doubt they give Beneil a shot at the title.

It all depends on tonight's main event, but if Volk loses the UFC kinda shot themselves in the foot.

Why hes not champion? Before you say Oliveira had to fight Islam in Abu Dhabi, titel was vacated. Olveira didn’t make weight.

UFC needs Islam to headline that card. Khabib,Islam and Khamzat are very big in that area.

Beside UFC fight night brazil have already a main event and its Blaydes vs Jailton Almeida in November.

If im Charles i take that fight against Islam. Lets say Volkanovski wins, they will do the trilogy and Oliveira will wait even longer.
