Paul Craig will move to 185 pounds and face Andre Muniz at UFC Fight Night 224.

Super Lutas was first to report the booking. UFC Fight Night 224 takes place at the O2 Arena in London on July 22 and is headlined by a heavyweight clash between Tom Aspinall and Marcin Tybura.

After going unbeaten in five Octagon appearances from September 2019 to March 2022, Craig is coming off back-to-back light heavyweight defeats against Volkan Oezdemir and Johnny Walker. The Scot known as “Bearjew” is 8-6-1 during his UFC tenure with notable victories over the likes of Jamahal Hill, Nikita Krylov, Mauricio Rua and Magomed Ankalaev.

If Craig could ever get some real striking or counter takedown offense, he might could actually do something.

amazed he can cut to MW. he's going to have to lop off several limbs to do it.

my initial impression is craig cant make that weight cut

Wow that's an awesome fight. The grappling exchanges in that one are gonna be wild. Two of the best pure submission specialists in the game today.

Holy shit, a battle of great jiu jitsu practitioners. I actually hope this one goes to the ground, but maybe they just stand and bang.

A way better fight than I had dared hope for!

That piece of booking is absolutely perfect.

Oh, this is going to be a fun fight! Prayerfully this actually goes to the ground.

He is too slow for MW. He is slow at LHW. I like Craig but he doesn't have the wrestling or physicality to implement his ground game.

True if huge!

He’s not a swoll LHW. But he’s still a big guy.

Lmfao dude is gonna be gigantic at 185…,..he’ll be the most dangerous skeleton in history!

let’s see how his chin holds up.

considering that his style is submission based, his long limbs will definitely help out against shorter fighters. He might not become champ, but he’ll def rack up a few submissions….unless his chin is shot. And if he learns how to establish a good jab, he’s gonna piss off a lot of fighters and fans. His size advantage is gonna be crazy at MW.

Too big of a weight cut for him I think, he will not do good as a MW. He should have stayed at LHW and maybe switch camps or something but moving down to MW isn't good for him
