I was trying to think of anyone who I'd give a pretty good shot to beat Jones from MW all the way to HW and wasn't really coming up with much, but then it came to me...

Someone who won't be taken down and subbed

Someone who can out technique him from a distance and make the fight every bit as boring as it needs to be

This fight will never happen though and if it did there's no way the judges would give him the decision even if it did, it would probably play out like the Reyes fight

Sure Stipe, Pavlovich and Blaydes have the power, but their overall striking game (hands and feet) is not polished enough for me to give them a great shot.

Nothing fluke about that; the triangle was there for the taking. It's just a late finish.

That said, he's the only UFC fighter at LHW or HW who is dangerous and has demonstrated takedown defense that might slow down a motivated Jones.
