For me Bones will try to make Gane tired for 2 or 3 rounds maybe with some clinch game, dirty boxing or ground and pound/control on the ground if he can take him down...Even though he has still 3 inch reach advantage I dont think he will use his signature reach game...

Bones cardio was always top notch but with nearly 50 lbs muscle he add ofcourse his cardio wont be same at HW
Other than that I dont remember very well but if I am not wrong Gane s cardio was not that good against Ngannou at later rounds, and I wont be surprised if Bones subs or TKO s Gane in the 4th and 5th round
(If he wont be KO d before)

EDIT
Here you go Bones added 40 lbs of muscle

What 50lbs of muscle?
He fought at 205, his fight night weight was around 225-230.
A few days after the fight he is 235+ at his walking around weight.

He weighed in at 248, after fully eating and drinking. So 243 in the morning.
That's a ~8 pound difference, which looks like 6 pounds of fat.

I think his cardio will be good.

A) If he keeps Gane down in the 1st and 2nd then Gane will gas in round 4
B) If he can't get Gane down, his takedown attempts and Gane's footwork and faints will tire him out in the 5th.

Yep its one of the keys.
Gane game consumes a lot of energy and indeed he gased a bit against Francis.
Gane coming pretty light though.

You re not saying wrong things but when he cuts to 205 and fights at 225 that difference is not muscle the cut mostly water and other things, its impossible at one day you can add 20 lbs of muscle and muscle is what sucks your cardio

No disrespect, but how are you not getting this?

He was a 235 or so lb man while at LHW, now he's a 248 lb man who added maybe 5 or so lbs of muscle and definitely some fat. I think you're complicating it in your head. Cheers for tonight :)
Come on man we all MMA fans,Bones went so hard to add muscle and power for 3 years with the best guys in the world you think for 3 off years and wiht all those opportinities he add 5 lbs muscle???And thank you tonight is mega...

I think a lot of people don't realize how much 5 lbs of muscle is, it's a lot, maybe he even gained 7 or 8. Also, I think it's likely that two of those years was drinking a lot, probably drugs and not 100% dedication like you say, if that stuff wasn't even still going on during camp. I can understand how people don't get how much 5 pounds of pure muscle is, cause they have no experience with that kind of stuff. Jones gained mostly fat. Agree to disagree though, I mean you think he gained 50lbs of muscle so it's not a debate I want to continue.

Is Jon stronger now ?

Will this new weight and age affect his cardio.

Gane can knock Jon out too, like early rounds...

Speaking of cardio, it looked like Jones was breathing pretty good after that little wrestling he did with Bo.

Aging fighters lose other attributes(speed, reflexes, durability depending on their career trajectory) before they significantly lose cardio. He probably doesn't have that same gas tank anymore but there are good odds that his cardio will be solid in this fight.

GSP, who was known to have elite cardio and preparation, struggled when he fought Bisping at MW, after a long layoff.

If it goes to round 4 and 5, I think Jones will have issues too with the extra weight.

Gane has great cardio and fights at a good pace, Jones better finish that shit quickly. If he starts to slow down, Ciryl will take over
