That very well may be the case, no doubt I’ll be putting a bet on Gane.

But I think it’s also only fair to mention, this is because Jones has looked well past his peak, and fairly past his prime for YEARS. The Jones that destroyed Glover and broke DC would make Gane wanna quit mma.

Hopefully he turns back the clock and it’s HW hellbows galore. I’m assuming Jon knows he can’t kickbox with Gane, and he’s going to absolutely smash him with GnP. Jon even mentioned in the countdown how it’s “Not a kickboxing match”, so I think he’s gonna give everything he’s got to get him down.


He only has to get him down once, or maybe twice as long as there’s a few minutes on the clock.

I'm a fan of Gane as a fighter and as a person. With that said he's fought nothing but bummy brawlers and strikers who were either old or less athletic than him. He hasn't fought a single dominant wrestler. Hasn't fought a single dominant grappler and hasn't fought someone who does it all well. Jones fight will show us how he handles himself against a truly skilled MMA fighter.

Mostly, I see people with an affinity for France supporting him. Alas they aren't always the sharpest tool in the shed, so it's a little embarrassing, I'll have to admit.
They also tend to spam threads with unrealistic expectations about him, which is frustrating.

I'm also obviously hyped, and support him, I mean the guy lives an hour drive away from me, is the only French with Fiorot (not too confident about her though) who could actually be an UFC champ soon, and is overall an excellent fighter and a good man.

But damn, some guys are really hardcore about him.

If Gane wins it will be an upset. If Jones wins it will have been anticipated.

In all fairness he's a great fighter and definitely seems like the new hope at heavyweight. If I lived an hour away I'd be his #1 supporter not gonna lie
