Rumored Colby Covington vs. Belal Muhammad is the new main event on January 14th

First thread ever! Heard a rumour from pretty credible source whome I cant disclose that Colby vs Belal is done deal for January 14th Main event and Gastelum - Imanov will moved to co-main.

Pretty interesting match up, I got Colby here. I think its no surprise for anyone that Colby ducked the Khamzat matchup.

I only like this matchup if Khamzat is no longer at 170lbs. He needs to figure his shit out, if so this is fine for the next crack at Leon, assuming Leon wins the trilogy. If Usman wins the trilogy then Colby isn't getting a third title shot regardless but Belal would.

I don’t think Belal has the cardio or grappling defense to keep up with Colbys pressure for 5 rounds, I’m taking safe workman like DEC by Colby, nothing spectacular.

One thing to note is Colby hasn’t been in the cage much recently as Belal has, he seems to be more content with slinging bad energy drinks and milking Masvidal. That could be a very big factor in this fight.

1-5 Kelvin healining a card is somewhat ridiculous, Colby vs. Belal is an actual main event fight. Its at least plausible they would demote Kelvin vs. Imadov for it.

He may not be sincere, but he's smart with his moves. Hope Khamzat runs into someone, anyone else, while he sits out in the wings waiting for the right time to weasel his way in.
