Rob's chin sucks, so he theoretically could, but he won't. Vettori's striking is very JV compared to Rob's, and I don't think he's going to find himself in position to land cleanly on him.

I'd say a 3 round fight favors him more, even with his great cardio. Rob will be able to use more offense on Marvin(like the Cannonier fight).
These guys are gonna be able to put on a show and Vettori is a tough fight too.
I'm picking Rob by decision though.

I'm glad he's staying active and he's handled the result of his last fight pretty well so far.

Good fight but not sure what you do with the winner. Both are the in the awkward place where they have 2 losses to the current champ. Feel like we could be entering an era where trilogies where one guy lost the first two could be the norm with potentially Holloway at 145, Colby at 170, and the winner here.

Maybe Rob's chin isn't glass like Rockhold or Garbrandt's are, but it isn't good. The Romero rematch took a lot out of his ability to absorb damage. He gets away with it because his striking defense is good. Idk how long Rob plans on fighting, but if his reaction times start slowing in a few years, things could start getting ugly for him real fast.

Costa doesn't deserve to fight Rob.
The guy can't make middleweight properly and bailed out of their initial fight after begging the UFC to make that bout for months.

It would be fun, but Costa needs to fight way down the ranks or move up.
