I have the feeling this may have started off innocently enough but Colby made some comments that just took it too far for everyone. At the same time, he was too far into the schtick to back out of it without risking his career.

As a guy who rarely has "beefs" with anybody, I'm always flummoxed about how random people at work will hate each other for no obvious reason. I think I'm missing some important male hormone or something

So I generally believe it. Although I'm sure its amped a bit for the promotion.

That said I've found fighting is weirdly like having sex or any other close relationship. Like you may hate an ex wife or girlfriend but you also have a weird warm spot for them.

In any case I'm sure both these guys are the type who woulda beat me up in high school so I won't shed tears over their falling out. Ill watch though!

This. There is a reason why they are never seen together ever since the beef started and Colby got kicked out the gym. They have absolutely no reason to fake it. This fight happened years after that. People don't have to stay friends forever lol.
