They are just practicing some combos. But even here you can see Its a night and day difference from Khamzat to Darren Tills striking. Khamzat at times looks unsure when he strikes, he doesnt have that pop, the crispness that Till does. Khamzats noticeably slower too.
Which obviously makes sense. Since at the end of the day Khamzat is a wrestler first. But of course you will have people on here overhyping his basic striking lol. Honestly it's the threat of the takedown is what will create those striking opportunities for Khamzat.
BUT the day Khamzat meets a fighter that has good takedown defense, and can push the pace on the feet. He will be in real trouble and have no way to win. Guys like Colby for example that can handle his wrestling and outpace him on feet would be a nightmare matchup. Usman obviously as well too. Maybe a few other welterweights too. And this is just at 170 lbs.
It gets even worse when you look at Middleweight. Where you have bigger guys that actually are Khamzat size. Meatheads like Costa and Vettori who are physically strong and relentless with pressure both beat Khamzat easily.
I think Khamzats can beat some top guys but theres some matchups that I just dont see how he wins.
