Why doesn’t Max Holloway get the 145 Pound Weight Bully Criticism that Conor gets?

Probably justified by the 69’ reach haha.

MMA fans you’ll find can be pretty hypocritical but with Max it’s probably his style being more volume based over Conors power. Because Max doesn’t gas they’ll say he is a FW whereas Conor is explosive so most likely would struggle 5 rd at FW so they’ll use that as a reason even though that’s just his style.

"Weight bully" criticism doesn't really make sense for anyone, unless they're missing weight. If you can successfully make the weight, then nobody should have any issues with the person fighting in the weight class. Max's frame is very slight and he doesn't have much muscle mass or fat, along with fairly short arms. He's never once missed the FW weight limit. He's a legit 145er and looked undersized and underpowered when he moved up to 155.

Cry some more. One of them continues to make FW weight under USADA (No IV). The other looks to take WW fights if he can get them against fellow LW.. Diego in Dublin, Cerrone, etc.

How do you even know Conor used an IV to make 145? Has Conor ever even stated he can’t make 145?

Some delusional kid thinks USADA is unavoidable lol
Looking at how much weight they are cutting is the most reliable thing if they are bully or not, but in the end you can't change the mind of delusional fanboys, i'm saying this for everyone not just one fanbase

Because Conor is hated around and Max is beloved by Sherdog.
I don't think either are weight bullies, if you're able to make weight consistently and perform well it's fine to me.

Overall the term "weight bully" is really stupid and people just use it towards a fighter they dislike.

I'm not even a fan of McGregor, but this criticism always felt odd to me.

I think missing weight is a better sign than looking like dead person
