being unable to eat many flush or glancing blows vs only having 1 or 2 rounds of cardio at best

which is a bigger weakness to have as a top contender?

IMO if Mcgregor can knock tf out of someone in the 1st round and doesn't have that cardio then you'll know a Good Chin is gonna make you feel like you can squash a potato but then again depends on your fight set, if you wanna go aggressive, have a good chin and knock tf out of people by swinging for the fences or if you wanna play with your food then cardio's your go. (forgot to mention you don't have a choice, you born with what you got)

Also imo, I'd rather have a good chin. mainly because I love to get more violent than to last 5 rounds in the tank.

Depends who you are fighting obviously.

Bad cardio against a high level wrestler is really bad. Having a bad chin is just as bad against a high level striker. Why do people insist on talking in absolutes? I honestly don’t get it.

Cardio is king, but you also have to be able to handle getting hit. Being bad at one or the other will both eventually result in L's.

For light heavyweight and above, having a bad chin is a bigger weakness.

For smaller weight classes, especially extreme manlets, having bad cardio is a bigger weakness.

I guess I'm one of that good chin and bad cardio kinds of classes.

I think this also matters what weightclass.. for the smaller weights like flyweight, BW, FW etc etc I think its a bigger weakness to have bad cardio... but for LHW and HW I think its probably better if you have an epic chin, because the fights are quite slow paced and much more power shots rather than lots of energy.

both are bad. It can be argued either way, but they are both terrible.

Cardio might be even more important, because as long as you have cardio, you can push the pace if you are a grappler and tire people out. If you can push the PACE and grapple someone round in round out, you have a good chance at breaking your opponents, which could cover your chin being weak, since usually people are more dangerous with their strikes earlier on when they aren't tired.

They both suck. And they can kind of coincide with each other.
