Charlie changed my opinion on this. Charlie said “don’t worry about your rankings just worry about where on the PpV card you’re featured.

there’s been some shenanigans with matchups and even the making of a brand new belt the bmf belt. An abolition of a division. And apparently there should be a division at like 165 lbs or whatever where there isn’t already one.

some divisions just suck. Like volk and usman and Israel running out of hot matchups. At this point I’m more excited for someone to move weight classes and create smoke. For example poirer and Colby feels so high school that it’s perfect. It doesn’t have to have ranking implications.

conor vs Colby or masvidal is way more fun than another poirer or Nate fight.

Somewhat - mostly due to the Rankings being unstable...

We need to go back to 1995 tournament style then we'll see some credibility in the sport. Lightweight under 200 heavyweight over 200.

not at all.

titles remains getting better to be honest. i cannot remember an era where there were so many options in all divisions.

Usman has 2 guys in the top 10 that might have better wrestling than him, both with ko power. both with 0 loses. this is pure titleish. plus luque that is always entretaining with a solid run and edwards with a solid run as well. the masvidal rematch was wrong, but still.
it is far better than gsp era.
izzy has cannonier ready to go and just had a close fight against a perenial top 5.
volk had a fun fight.

How bout guys fight more but fght less when they do?

60 second rounds. Can run like ten tournaments a year!

If you tune in to the UFC expecting tournaments and brackets and seeing your favorite fighter earning his title shot through hard work and fair treatment, you will be woefully disappointed. The UFC is sports entertainment and the objective is maximize profits for their shareholders.
