I personally dislike Adesanya as a fighter...can t stand his antics.
I was all Bobby Knuckles but was not delusional about victory. I knew he d make adjustments and be more calculated in hi striking and got for TDs but I also knew that his chances of being victorious were even slimmer :
TD: Odessanyah can be taken down, but he 's so so freaking good at getting back up. It got me nervous how easily he got back to his feet. You need a big , sturdy dude to keep him down, such as Jan. MWs don't seem to be strong and heavy enough when it gets to keeping this lanky mfer down
Patient striking: by being patient Bobby actually greatly lowered his chances of getting KTFO but the same happened to his chances of Knocking Izzy out. Patient, at distance striking is Izzy's game: he will punish your legs and body and prevent you from getting closer. Actually Bobby did a good job at closing the distance and countering with a solid jab, but it wan t enough. He needed to follow up with combos, in order to hurt his opponent but fell short and left the fight in the hand of the judges who of course favored the champ.
