Her downfall has always mystified me. It's not as if she got cracked too many times, but her fighting ability has fallen off a cliff.

What happened to the woman who defeated Rose Namajunas? She was undefeated at the time. Now she looks dreadful. It's like she lost her fire.

It doesn't seem physical to me, it seems mental.

She got some kind of thyroid illness I think? Don't quote me on that, though. I don't know what illness she had, but she definitely had one and it required her changing her lifestyle and diet around. It affected her a lot. I believe she got quiet a few injuries as well, and then finally she just got old. Also, her coach/now husband just isn't good. She was better with her previous coach in my opinion. Long story short: it was a mix of illness, injuries, age and bad coaching in my opinion.

*edit* I looked it up and it was hashimotos disease.

Also, Rose was in an absolute messed up state when KK fought her. She was in the middle of a breakup with Barry because he lied to her and relapsed into his drug/alcohol addiction. Got arrested and shit. This happened during fight week (or close to it) lol. Quite the moving story when you have the time.

Oh I kinda feel bad for bashing her now.
Well all of her fights post Andrade were so bad and she had moment in them.
Like a lot of fighter relying on grit and physicality, when the decline comes it's over.
 
KK looked okay in her last fight until she made the mistake of following a far better grappler to the ground and got submitted
 
She was way overhyped because some people thought she was cute. I personally never saw it, her face features make her look older than she is somehow. Or as others have put it she resembles Tom Hanks in Forrest Gump.

Bruh this is WMMA, what do you expect? Nunes was one of the only consistent performers and then look what happened to her.
