Aldo is the more skilled and experienced fighter.

Conor beat him before the fight had started. Too bad Conor is not the same anymore. He does not mean anything anymore and is just trying to create a mediocre spectacle. Conor is just not hungry anymore.

Conor also beat RDA mentally. The whole fake Brazilian champ got to him. RDA went crazy with kicks in training and got checked hurting himself.

Having your boss be a cheerleader for your opposition and abetting all their games, endorsing his bullshit on a world tour in a language you don't speak or understand confidently must be a total mind fuck. Especially when everything you do is rooted in respect.

FW conor was something else

Too bad he has to fight in his natural weight class and lose to guys his own size

Did Conor's trash talk result in Aldo being over-aggressive? Possibly. But saying he "mentally destroyed" him is a major stretch. If you want to see people mentally destroyed, look at the guys Mike Tyson fought in his prime. Or the women Cyborg fought for much of her career. People who went into the fight knowing they would lose. Aldo went in there to knock Conor's head off, he over-extended, and he flatlined. There's a difference.

No, I don't think so.

If the fight went on and I saw more from Aldo, then maybe. With that said however, given how Aldo reacted AFTER the loss, I did think Conor go to him mentally lmao.

We'd never know. I don't think so personally. Based on the fact that Aldo lunged with two piece combo and Conor layed him out? I don't know about that.

Conor did that in an out, in and out steps to bait Aldo in, I think. Conor is faster than Aldo, and longer with longer reach, so Aldo as the fight progresses, I imagine would have lunged in at one point or another as well, it just happened that he got ktfo in 13 seconds, and I think Conor prob baited him in for that shot. I mean there was a vid out there Conor practicing that exact shot as well, if I remember it right.

I mean we'd never know, but I just happen to think Conor showed up night, and all I know is that, what did destroy Aldo for sure was Conor's left hook

Everything is pure speculation, and I give full credit to Conor for that, not for his trashtalk. Walking the walk, yes, the most impressive thing I've seen in MMA aside from Royce in UFC 1, since I rate Aldo so highly, but when I think of that fight, I don't personally think "oh Aldo was gotten to, so got laid out in 13 seconds", no. I give full props to Conor for that shot.

Jose Aldo had to be glued back together post surgery when he fought Conrat. Before that the UFC made Chad Mendes cut 30-40 lbs in two weeks to fight Conrat. His "title reign" has to be the most fraudelent in combat sports history.

GSP was one of the most exciting fighters before Matt Serra, post Serra, GSP was no longer "Rush"

Conor landed a nice shot. Could he have done it two times in a row? We will never know.
Fucking exactly.

Conor knew damn well it would take an act of god to top the outcome against Aldo, giving him everything to lose and little to gain and he moved on to bigger paydays with built in excuses.

I tend to think Conor at that era is a bad night for Aldo more often than not.

Conor had size and power and KO placement and timing on Aldo who was never a one hitter quitter with his hands and stopped throwing kicks and knees after a knee injury somewhere well before he faced Conor. So basically Aldo would be boxing a bigger better southpaw boxer.

Conor knew better than to risk his fortune on that rematch. I don't really like him, buy can't honestly say he didn't play that right and make the better career move.
