One of the things that the people who constantly point out his faults will never understand is that the reason some people like Jon Jones at this stage isn't because he's seen as some kind if hero to degenerates, or a master criminal bad boy type... Its because he's so incredibly human and igs so easy to imagine the money, the fame, the adulation, and the partying going to your head and taking you down roads you once strive against...
Its a funny thing, having and accepting mental issues, and problems with addiction... One moment you're the king of the world, and then a couple of bad days happen and your life is in the shitter with everyone around you either disappointed in your or gloating at your failures... And then you end up absorbing that energy ad letting it manifest into a caricatured version of who you once were...
It doesn't matter your professional field, your personality type (to a point), your age, race, sexuality, or whatever...This kind of meltdown can happen to anyone at any time that isn't on top of themselves, and with good people they respect around them...There are bad apples and seeds everywhere, but I've been through so much in my own life that I can't judge another man on his demons, albeit there are unsavory aspects there, this i can't deny... I just hate to see potential squandered for nothing, and I still have some (probably fantastic) hopes about him making a comeback and doing well, but yeah... I dunno... I guess my point is glass houses.
This guy with the vouceover making the video would give his right arm to taste some of the pleasures Jones has had put his way, and isn't in a position to comment on how he'd behave in the same situation.
Haters gonna hate.
I don't even remember writing that, and it only happened a couple of hours ago.

Wife beating is indefensible... And yet somehow in his situation its become understandable, in so much that I can see how he ended up thereA lot of words to justify wife beating

Its because he's so incredibly human
You want this to be a fact so you have convinced yourself it is a fact. It’s not.Jones isn't his "own worst enemy".
The guy simply would not have achieved what he did in MMA without constant, ridiculous levels of cheating.
The rest is mental gymnastics to try to worm around that fact.
