So obviously we have Israel-Rob and Brunson-Cannonier set up. Assuming Strickland beats Hermansson which I think he will, he is only one fight away from a title shot. I think Israel wins again vs Robbas well.

If Cannonier wins he’s obviously fighting Israel next. If Brunson wins, I could see Dana forcing him to face Strickland because not many fans care to see Brunson rematch Israel.

Let’s assume the next title fight is Israel vs Cannonier and that Sean wins Saturday. What should be the title eliminator fight for Sean? Vs Vettori? Costa is coming off two losses. Brunson would be coming off a loss.

I guess it’ll have to be Vettori vs Strickland. Hopefully Sean fights for the belt. I for one look forward to Sean pressing Israel about his gyno tit. That whole press conference would be gold.

Am I the only that wants to see him vs Costa? JBG demand that sure to be war. Don't think he wins but can imagine it would be a fun fight.
I think he breaks Costa. I mean, Costa can still murder him but if he can keep his stamina up, keep talking that shit, get Costa emotional, let him gas. I think he can absolutely win that fight. I'm really interested to see how that fight goes tomorrow night.

Right now the most winnable fight for him is against Scatman Crothers.

'Cause he dead.

I tend to agree, I can also see his lack of stopping power not be enough to keep Costa off of him. Add that with the fact that he has weak striking defense and it could be a highlight KO for costa. Either case its a win win and most likely a banger of a fight.

Costa is lhw now, isn't he? I don't think he'll beat anyone besides maybe Hermansson or Cannonier by dec.

His boxing is pretty good but besides the striking or wrestling in Top 5 will be too much for him imo.

His trainer or some crony of his said he would be back at 185 but who knows these days seems his hormones are way out of balance.

Costa if he's still at 185.
Otherwise his best bet is Cannonier(watch out for the power though) or Vettori(both high pace volume strikers). I would still favor these two by a decent amount against Strickland.

The reason I hesitate to choose Brunson is mainly due to we don't know how good Strickland wrestling defense is at middleweight against a competent grappler. Saturday will give us more answers.

Yeah he's got some things going for him in that fight, and a lot going against him. I'd watch it.

He beats Cannonier & Costa
Brunson and Vettori might win by wrestling
Adesanya and Whittaker are just better

Only Vettori, but he won't make it past the Joker.

Costa would probably be the most winnable fight, but it would be a war
