He says he's retiring from MMA, but not from combat sports and teases some spectacles, but he doesn't specifically mention what it is.

This is really sad Dana took a moral stand here but let Conor go on a reign of terror and it was basically just "Conor's being Conor".

At that time he would have been exciting at 170 too, division needed striking.

I'm not a fan of Daley, but he did fight UFC-calibre competition, without the prestige of UFC banner.

He fought Masvidal, Fitch, Rory, Shields, Larkin, Diaz, Woodley, Misaki outside UFC.

This is one the moments he will always be remembered for. He went out of the UFC by giving them what they wanted to see.
What chance would you guys have given Paul against GSP had that fight happened :) ?

Shouldn't have been fired for punching one of the most punchable fighters ever to have put on gloves after the bell.
Particularly seeing as other fighters have got away with far worse since.

Dana and moral stand seem weird in the same sentence. It might just be me though.

Agreed. Kos is one of the most disliked fighters of all-time.

I still find it hilarious that he was never allowed back in. Guess he didn't have enough star power. I don't think he would have become champ because of his grappling deficit, but he was always down to put someone to sleep. Lived up to the Semtex moniker IMHO
