Does the UFC need jon jones to win an interim HW belt?

Now that ngannou holds all the cards and threatning to leave. Does having jon jones win an interim belt the only way the UFC can claim they still have the baddest man on the planet?

Honestly I think ideally Jones vs Stipe. Stipe wins dethrones Jones weakens Jones ability to negotiate then Stipe faces Ngannou and Ngannou wins

Then by then Ciryl may have had 2x more fights rematches Ngannou next year and wins and that would be ideal for the UFC

I think they would prefer the more jacked quieter and more company man Ciryl win and build him up as the HW GOAT.

All across the different countries I have lived MMA is more popular and MMA gyms are everywhere. I also dont hang out with old men so everyone prefers MMA and where I live now kickboxing is growing
