Sweden is an amazing place on a slippery slope to hell. They've got serious problems with the mass numbers of immigrants they let in in droves - huge, huge increases in organised crime. No-go zones in cities, where the area is just run by criminal elements and Swedes fear going anywhere near there. Bombings, grenade attacks. I think we can safely say there is a definite correlation there - Sweden wasn't known for its explosives before the mass imigration began.

Oh is that True? I visited a gf I had in Sweden in 1999 and it was safer than any other place I had been to before in South America Europe and USA. That's the time when turks Chileans and Arabs were the main immigrant communities going there, now 20 years later I've heard it's gotten much worse with other countries migrating there like Africans immigrants for example. Don't know if true just what I heard.

Didn’t know this at all. I went to Stockholm in 2019 and it was a beautiful city except really expensive, didn’t see that side of it.
Because the city centre is old and pompous (most of it), and around it lies the Soviet style "ghettos" built from 1940 and onwards.
So tourists usually see the shopping streets and the surrounding tranquil luxury blocks or charming areas. But never set foot in those places around the centre where all criminals are living.

Yeah fair enough I just compare it to other city centres I’ve been to and it definitely felt much nicer and safer than some other European cities by comparison. But I guess it doesn’t really matter when like you said the outside of it is bad

Sweden these days are not what Sweden once was, so the comment "In Sweden nonetheless" doesn't hold any water anymore :D

One would definitely say "In Sweden nonetheless?" if it regarded Sweden back in the 70s, 80s or early 90s.

Was heaven in Sweden back in the 70s and 80s.
I know, I was there in 1999. But it's gotten terrible now from what you all are saying
