My era of when I started watching MMA was 2009 onward and I maintain Fedor is the overall most accomplished HW but I don´t believe would beat all the top HWs after his era (Ubereem, Jds, k1 Werdum, Stipe, Cain, Ngannou) though I think he would beat Cormier, possibly Cain, and would destroy Brock, Mir, Lewis, Blaydes, etc

I have seen nothing like this before this trashing Ngannou claiming he has no skills and is just a brawler (this is not true and he is beating and KOing good strikers like Overeem, Rouz, etc) and has beaten grapplers like Stipe and Blaydes and out wresteld them and even improved his offensive wrestling abilities (taking down Stipe and Gane)

The only reason he gassed in the Gane fight is because he came in with a knee injury so I suspect that had something to do with it. Normally he has enough in the tank for 2 to 3 rounds and even then he has fought 5 rounds before no issue.

I think people are just intimidated by what Ngannou represents which is someone who can challenege the legacy of Fedor, Werdum, Cain and even Stipe

A past prime Junior Dos Santos out wrestled Blaydes and Stipe more effectively than Ngannou, and is literally better everywhere than Ngannou other than raw power. JDS didn't have the luxury of fighting a 40 year old Stipe like Francis did either.

The reason Ngannou gassed against Gane is because his cardio is really bad, and the only reason he won is because Gane's wresting and BJJ is bad.

New Breed at 36 age?
naa ..

Fedor 2000-2005 runs through every UFC heavyweight of this era.

Such delusion the level of competition he faced in that time was a joke the better opponents he beat were later on anyhow and then he of course got finished by Big Foot and an older smaller Hendo. Also K1 submission GOAT Werdum submitted him with ease

Agreed. It was sad to see the majority on sherdog bag the fight as the worst ever. Frank has beaten everyone. I think with one more win he becomes goat and that triggers sherdoggers.

If he beats Jones and then beats say idk Aspinall, romanov, volkov people and fedor fans especially will still say he beat weak competition and that mythical 2012 Cain owns him and 2005 Fedor beats him

The Werdum fight shows why Fedor is the goat imo. Fedor never played it safe - he struck with the strikers, and grappled with the grapplers. Fedor literally jumped to the ground, twice, with arguably the best BJJ HW ever. One of the only headkicks Fedor has ever done was on CroCop. Fuck man, Fedor has never been in a boring fight.
Add to that, that Fedor is not physically gifted like say Jon Jones or Ngannou - He is a small, semi chubby hw who fought people up to 40+ pounds heavier then him.

And he fought the best competition at the time. People are already saying Jon Jones didn't face good competition, that GSp faced cans, that Khabib only fought matches that stylistically were good for him and bla bla bla.
"After a controversial loss in December 2000, Emelianenko was unbeaten in his next 28 fights up until June 2010, including wins over four former UFC champions, one Pride FC champion, one former and two future K-1 champions, and two Olympic medalists."
But yeah, he fought only cans, right?

I also think Fedor got nerve damage or something in the Bigfoot fight. After that fight, his chin was completely gone - from eating heavy punches like they were candy, to getting knocked out by a jab. These days, anyone who can land a just half good punch on him has a chance of knocking him out. That does not take away from how great he was, though.

He beat the number two heavyweight of all time during that run, plus Cro Cop, Randleman, Coleman, Schilt, Sobral, Arona, all within his first five years of MMA...

No I don’t think that’s what it is.
