Suckerpunch Entertainment, who I believe represent over a hundred of fighters in the UFC alone, have been caught in a Twitter firestorm after prominent manager Bryan Hamper was ALLEGEDLY caught challenging people to create a better pay structure than that offered by the sports' top promotions.

Suckerpunch have since claimed that ALL their accounts have been compromised, and have been working on the issue.

Brian Butler-Au's account has been 'restored', as his the main company account, however Bryan Hamper's has been deleted from Twitter as we speak.

The validity of the offending tweet has been questioned on Twitter.

A dreadful look for any supposed manager or agent brokering on behalf of his client's, although I suppose it could be a hit job from an aggrieved rival? Who knows...

UPDATE:

First Round Management CEO Malki Kawa doesn't believe Suckerpunch officials, and makes mention of FRM's acquisition of agent David Arvelo, who left Suckerpunch to joint them...

Ouch...

i mean, i dont think it'd be hard if you had access to every mma fighter available.

if i put on a card with jones/ngannou, conor/nate diaz and gsp/khabib, i'd be up money before the event even started.

Malki Kawa caught making fool of himself...

This tweet predates his indignation over the Suckerpunch tweets...

Bryan hamper is a little rich boy. Must be taking cliffs from Dana “derp get your own buddies and start your own promotion if you can do better”. Such a lazy argument.

MMA fighter's managers do take a big chunk of their money.
10% of fight purses
20% of endorsement $$$
and fighters pay up to 30% in agency fees, it seems the leeches take a lot.

You don't even know the guy lol. Internet people are weird.

If Hamper’s tweet is real, he’s just speaking what all managers feel.

All high profile managers work in their own best interest only, not the fighters. It behooves them to have as many fighters in the UFC as possible, to keep money pumping in.

besides, it’s not like he testified in court against fighters on behalf of the UFC, like a certain manager with a misshapen head….

I just don't get his argument lol. The "Well why don't you start a league!" is the dumbest thing I ever heard. There is literally soooooooooo many people involved in the cost of running a show for the UFC. Plus the UFC was founded by family billionares. If anyone here had a billionare friends they wouldn't be on this forum. I hate the internet

Isn't Brian Butler the guy that claimed Joanna's fans were verbally abusive to Weili at the UFC 248 open workout by yelling "corona virus" and UFC security had to deal with them immediately?

The same open workout for which there are numerous videos and audio, one right next to the supposed abusive fans, but there's no evidence of said abuse apart from Weili giving the double middle finger to said fans wearing JJ t-shirts? Something that JJ brought to the attention of Weili during their face off who had a seemingly scripted reply to yell out to the media.

The same open workout recorded by a dozen MMA/local/national media that normally salviates and blows up any minor indiscretions yet they couldn't find a single member of the media, UFC staff/security or anybody else to verify such claims.

Perhaps it's a different Brian Butler from Suckerpunch.
