Every time these two fight is amazing MMA. Not only are they 1-1-1, but there's not a clear contender in the flyweight division at the moment. The time is now to schedule the 4th fight. I don't know who wins.

Yes sir didn't even think of that. This fight clearly belongs to Brazil or Mexico. Maybe more Brazil because Fig is the champ now.
 
Definitely just as deserved as this third fight. I can see Moreno getting screwed out of that though. Can't see a 4th fight back to back being signed. They will probably have to have one fight each in between.
 
Lets give the lil fellas a rest though. Earliest I want to see them in the summer.
 
Agreed. That was a great fight. Loved Figueiredo have the guts to ask for a fourth fight in Mexico as the fans were booing him during the post fight interview. Gotta appreciate the bad guy work from him.

This rematch never should have happened and now we have to have a 4th consecutive fight between these two, further constipating the division. Instant rematches are fucking out of control. In an era where champs fight once a year, they can’t keep doing this.

They dodged a bullet that Max had to pull out of his fight with Volk. If he had won, you’d be looking at 4th fight between those two as well.

Agreed fully but they’ve made their bed with this one. It would be absurdly unfair not to give Moreno one. He dominated the second fight and finished Fig, only to lose the third (which absolutely never should have happened) via close, competitive decision.

But I agree completely about the overall plague of instant rematches. They never used to do this, even with their marquee guys. Chuck, Randy, Hughes, GSP. I don’t know why they started this roughly 10 years ago.
 
Enjoyed the fight. I'd rather see Fig defend his belt against someone else like Kai Kara France. And see Moreno fight someone else too. Before another rematch.
 
Fuck no, let Figgy defend and Moreno fight a contender, enough with the rematches.
 
They should fight again AFTER another challenger gets a chance

Who else are you clammoring to see?

I disagree with the concept of four consecutive matchups between the same two fighters, but in this case we've got two really equally matched but stylistically different guys in a fighter without any other clear exciting contenders.

It makes sense to me.
 
Just book them to fight each other every three months, I'd watch it.
 
It was a great fight and I wouldn’t mind seeing a 4th, but not immediately. Let it breathe, give them each somebody else for now.

If they both win their next fights, run it back.
