I'm talking about when your opponent is on their back, you're standing over them and they've got their legs extended to keep you away from them.
Sure, you might be sacrificing position but they're basically giving you their legs.
I can only think of two instances where the standing fighter went for it and they were both HW fights:
Could just be a coincidence but maybe it happened at HW because they thought a big guy would be too slow to react to defend against it. Then again there are probably other instances that I'm just not aware of.

- Andrei Arlovski won an interim belt by submitting Tim Sylvia with an Achilles lock
- Ciryl Gane submitted Don'Tale Mayes with a heel hook
