I can actually envision Ngannou winning a decision if he manages to drop Gane a few times and secures one or two 10-8 rounds<Prem974>

Gane sleeping Francis early seems like the more unlikely & shocking outcome <{you!}>

Personally I would say Ngannou winning by decision is less likely. Anybody can get KOd with one punch or a series of punches at any time, especially at HW. But it’s much harder to picture a guy with a notoriously bad gas tank beating a guy like Gane over 5 whole rounds.

The betting odds should be out there. What do they say?

lol at Ngannou sleeping Francis, btw.

Ummm ... You already start drinking ?lol
Francis by decision is the least likely outcome . Gane winning by finish or UD is slightly the most likely and Francis Ko'ing him early is almost just as likely.... You got this all twisted bro <Lmaoo>

Gane sleeping Francis would be a bigger surprise for me.

If Ngannou hurts Gane without finishing him a few times, I can see Gane on his bycicle, equally gassed and avoiding the fight.

I can totally see Gane finishing Ngannou in the first round if he overextends too much.

Typo is fixed so to the original point, Ngannou outclassing him for 5 rounds without Knocking him out would be more surprising, I don't think Francis is energy efficient and I think if he doesn’t finish him early Gane will end up finishing him himself or outpoint him considerably.

Surviving 5 rounds of Francis on the feet seems more of an accomplishment.

Not sure bout shocking but I would bank on the first as a more likely chance. Gane is a more technical striker and outpoints Ngannou if he cant finish.

Francis has lost some muscle/weight to help with the cardio. Personal I don't believe Francis has the skill to win a decision against Gane.

2 big ass highly skilled men in their 30’s fighting for 25 minutes to a decisions always seems unlikely to me. I have not looked at stats on the percentages heavyweight 5 round fights go the distance though.

both outcomes can happen.
Both Gane & Francis knows each other. Same as when Ngannou fought BB, if both are shy/afraid to commit, then a decision can happen.
And Gane knocked 40% f his opponents. Why would it be so hard to believe it can happen?

I mean, I'd be shocked by that.

On topic, 10-8's and the possibility for Gane to not recover well after getting hurt early, (which isn't an uncommon thing in MMA) means I wouldn't be surprised by a Ngannou decision.

And Gane is skilled and powerful enough that him KO'ing Francis wouldn't surprise me either.

Honestly, I'd be most surprised by a submission. Let's go Gane by RNC or Ngannou by flying triangle
