Starting right off.
The only fights that are the most intriguing currently is tomorrow's fight and a possibility of
Khamzat vs usman or Israel
Is tomorrow fight the biggest fight ufc can making with current roster or khamzat and usman or Israel would be bigger.
Ps Jones vs the winner would be bigger but I don't see jones taking those fights.

One of them, yes. Ngannou the scariest most powerful HW champ ever vs. a guy who's never been defeated in both MMA AND Muay Thai.

Those are my biggest/most interesting fights, starting from biggest:
Francis/Jones
Khamzat/Usman
Francis/Gane
Khamzat/Izzy
Cejudo/Volk
Cejudo/Yan

And in a lower tier, here are others I'd like to see:
Pereira/Izzy
Dustin/Colby
Diaz/Tony
Emmet/KZ
Omalley/Sandhagen

Edit: I went way too detailed and didnt really answer anything lol

Arguably now that it's happening, but Jon/Francis would've been much bigger. Dana should've whipped out the checkbook.

Usman v. Adesanya
Khabib v. GSP
Khabib v. Usman
Francis or Gane v. Jones

I know GSP, Khabib and Jones are retired and African people’s don’t crime on each other...

So basically yeah

Usman v. Adesanya
Khabib v. GSP
Khabib v. Usman
Francis or Gane v. Jones
Non except Jones vs the HW champ are possible...
And Usman v. Adesanya??

Also I don't agree with you OP . Jones will probably take the winner of this fight and I got a feeling the winners gonna call him out . That's the biggest fight to make in terms of legacy and greatness . Biggest revenue fight ? Still McGregor sadly and it's not that close although Khamzat could reach Khabib levels of popularity in the future.

Conor/Diaz 3 is still probably number 1. Which is why UFC is dying.

If your talking about the numbers then the clear biggest fight on the horizon is Colby/Mas, that will likely sell over 700K PPVs based on both guys track records and can potentially even reach 1M.

Whereas, this fight is certainly more intriguing for the hardcore fans and would undoubtedly get some casual watchers in on the gag but it doesn’t seem like it would do remarkable at the box office. That said, I can’t wait, Gane by 3rd Round KO.

no not by a mile, Cyril who??

Israel vs Oliveira is the only other one.

Cejudo vs Petr Yan is a near other.

Volkanovsky vs Mckee more distantly.

Really depends on your definition of "big". From a competitive standpoint, there certainly aren't many more intriguing matchups right now than Francis/Gane. It's the perfect stylistic clash between two mammoth HW's who have looked unbeatable.

From a revenue/casual viewer standpoint, it's nowhere near the biggest though. No casuals even have any idea who Gane is. Conor against any random opponent would do much bigger PPV numbers.

In terms of size, yes, in terms of hype - not even close. I wouldn't even be shocked if Glover/Jiri outsold this.

We should have a prediction thread on how many ppvs this sells. The numbers seem to leak out enough that we’d get a pretty decent estimate. Because I don’t think this is anywhere near the biggest fight they could possibly make right now. That would obviously still be a Conor fight. And Colby/Masvidal has potential with a solid under card. Usman/Borz, Izzy/pereira or even Izzy/Whittaker might do well too. A guy like Jiri could take off too with winning the title and a push.

I just don’t think either guy is a star. They already tried with Ngannou and it didn’t work. Once bitten twice shy. Especially with his inactivity, not playing ball, and public downtalking of the company. Now, Gane might have a chance. I assume if he wins the UFC will get behind a French Champion in a big way. But, he’s still relatively not well known to the casuals. But, he doesn’t have what tends to be the qualities that make a star in the UFC these days.

In other words he’s not a shit talking drama queen. He just goes about his business. And not always in the most exciting way possible. It’s a shame that just winning isn’t enough. But, this is clearly more about entertainment than sport at this point. And has been for a while.

And I’m not convinced Ngannou/Jones would be a huge seller either at this point. But I would expect it to sell more than this fight. I hope this fight sells well for all concerned. I’m just not sure if it will.
