Indeed. Pretty sure it's mostly fake. Most of Colby's beef seem manufactured to a certain extent. He's known Chael forever and he's really taking pages out of his book entertainement-wise.

Yeah Colby is basically Chael-lite when it comes to crowd work and promo stuff. As for the fight I think the first 8-12 minutes are going to be very dangerous Colby particularly if he starts out slow like he did against Usman

if this is a work then it's been years in the making haha. Gotta respect their vision.

maybe this is endgame for both fighters, realizing that neither can ever become champion but trying to get one last big paycheck from their 'beef' before finishing the rest of their careers as gatekeepers.

it will be interesting to see if they are friendly after the fight or if we can hear Colby talk to him the way we heard him telling Usman 'it's all love, just trying to make some money' etc etc.
