Anyone recall any fights where it looked like the guy got KO'ed but after their opponent followed up with more punches on the ground, it looked like the punches woke him/her up?

I recall Rogan or someone on commentary saying that in a UFC fight, about how it looked like the follow up punches woke the person up again, can't recall the fight.

Anyone got any ideas?

The end. There is literally no MMA fight that can beat this. Barry KO'd Kongo like 3 times only to have him wake back up after each one and KO Barry. Insanity!

Dialoque between a ko'ed fighter and the dude who ko'ed him and proceeded to wake him up with yet another punch:

- Whaat, bitch? Did you just knock me unconscious with one punch?
- Yeah
- But you chose to wake me up with yet another punch?
- Yeah?
- Are you gonna punch me in the face again?
- Well, probably?

Fedor VS Henderson.
Carin van jds.

And definitely not Francis vs Reem

Not a KO, but Hughes vs. Newton where Hughes went to sleep in a triangle choke before slamming Newton and KOing him.

Saku gets KO'd around 2mins and is half out of the ring. Gets pushed back and goes on to win.

Great fight. I'd only ever watched the highlights before. What a Just Bleed ref. Jesus. Great heart from both fighters. . . especially Saku.

Rampage-Chuck 2. Page knocked Chuck out on the ground and brought him back to consciousness with the final punch.

This was my first thought.

The initial GNP turns out his lights, but then the last punch actually turns the lights back on.

It was a sad day. Also the hits to the back of the head were brutal.

Also another great example...though not a great sight to see. A sad day, indeed.

Would you want to be the ref who stops a Sakuraba fight in Japan? But hey, that was another era. And there is something to be said for warriors like Sakuraba who can come back and win fights where it looks for all the world like they're going to die. That's part of what made fighters like Sakuraba and Nogueira such legends: The ability to withstand punishment and to eventually find a way to win.

I remember Cain being ko’ed and waking up after a punch. Pretty sure he won that fight.

Possibly also the best refereeing ever..

Imagine if one of those guys had a freak accident and ended up in a bad way..

He'd have to explain he can decide in the heat of the moment if the dead guy will wake up and win..
