Chiesa looked like a problem before he got reckless against Luque, and then didn't seem to care against Brady until the end.

Chiesa was never a problem, he is what he is. He beat Diego, a washed-up Condit and RDA who was fighting at the wrong weight and a very winnable fight for WW grapplers. Magny also has the same hole in his game as RDA. He had a win streak with very favorable matchups. Chiesa is a top 10 fighter and a tough dude but he is what he is.

I respect Usman for taking on all challengers unlike most top competitors. In the words the the great Harold Howard "If you're gonna bring it then bring it!".

At the time Chiesa was prob as close as hes ever going to get to a title shot. They should have given it to him. Colby wasn't going anywhere. But Colby made more money so he got it.
