One thing I noticed about UFC fighters is, lot of them have an incredible drive and toughness to succeed in life if they refocused the energy they put in to MMA in to starting their own businesses.

This makes me wonder, if you guys had the opportunity to be a famous UFC fighter ( not goat/conor status) or a extremely rich person with all the time in the world, which one would you pick if you only could pick 1?

Rich.

UFC fighters many of them will suffer brain issues and other health issues, also if you arent the GOAT of your division you will be forgotten or if you werent a top tier p4p. And I think most UFC fighters wish they could trade lives and be rich and say a model or something or actor

why else do so many fighters start eyeing the ´´big money´´ fights even when most of those fights aren´t the #1 contender and are just for cash? So many fighters start checking out of the sport once they got the belt as well. They become concerned about the money and spending less time fighting.

There's a lot more benefit to being rich than famous.

You serious? I wouldn't even need to be "very rich" to take that over being a fighter. Anonymously wealthy with enough passive income to comfortably retire right now is what I dream of. Being able to spend the rest of my life pursuing interests and hobbies sounds like paradise.

I don’t know about that.

I would say being Kazushi Sakuraba is more honroable than being Jeff Bezos.

Being Machida vs. Donald Trump.

They might be happier too.
In this fantasy scenario of being rich with nothing but free time, why would I turn into a workaholic egomaniac? Couldn't get further from my personality. That's one of the primary reasons I'll never be excessively wealthy, but I don't think this hypothetical comes with changing who we are.

Also, it's a little disingenuous to choose two examples of the very coolest fighters and two examples of very unlikable billionaires. How about we do War Machine vs Warren Buffett?
