you could not be more wrong about conor. he believed in "the secret" he thought he had magic powers and his confidence and ego soared as a result of the delusions. this fall from conor was the inevitable result of a delusional person faced with hard reality. there was no other way conor could have turned out and this was obvious from the very beginning.

LOL It's funny when people call Conor delusional. Do people not realize what he accomplished? It's the haters that are delusional. They can't accept the fact that Conor is the most popular and highest paid mma fighter in history. He became champion. 2 division champion. He isn't delusional at all. He succeeded better than anyone else has in the sport of mma. They are prize fighters, he got the prize of championship gold and the most money. This is why fighters try to copy Conor all the way down to copying his exact outfits.

He thought he had magic powers from watching "the secret". That absolutely makes him delusional and he crashed because the confidence that caused so many to worship him will NEVER return. He will never feel like that again.

Two of the men featured in "the secret" went to prison. Why? One was embezzling money while pretending checks just "came in the mail" and the other killed two people in a sweat lodge by telling thwm it was only too hot if they believed it was too hot. They died.

Everywhere you find people believing in The Secret you will find tragedy. tragedy delusion dejection and disillusionment.

And that's Connor.

As a fighter Connor accomplished what he did on his own skill and that should be recognized but the rest of it is insanity stupidity pride arrogance, the exact opposite of what a man should be.

Honestly I think it really does torture McGregor that he's lost his air of invisibility, the money was it at first but now it's pure ego . There's that old quote from him about losing his mind and when his family has all the wealth they could ever imagine they'll thank him for losing his mind . Well that's happened and he's definitely lost his mind and won't get it back until he leaves the game . Dude needs to relax on his millions . I envy the wealth but man not his life . Couldn't imagine going full throttle 24/7, like having an acid trip where you believe yourself to be god but it doesn't end . There's a nihilistic emptiness to living like that and it'll devour anyone eventually .
