Not really. Fiziev was fading in the 3rd. The judge who scored it 30-27 needs to get his vision checked. Bobby wins that fight if it goes on. He had more in the tank. Fiziev is very talented though. It would’ve been an interesting 5 rounder.
Also he started improving lately which is great, guy is very exciting fighter and hard fight for anybodyGreen is really underrated. No one has really completely outclassed or starched him besides Dustin. That win has aged extremely well.
To be honest, he didn’t starch anyone either before finishing the shell of Iaquinta just now. His last finish was in 2013Green is really underrated. No one has really completely outclassed or starched him besides Dustin. That win has aged extremely well.

Just rewatched it since the night of the fight and I have no clue how someone could score that for Bobby. He had a great 3rd round, but Fiziev pretty much controlled 1 and 2.In before ”robbery, green won”
Fiziev took first two rounds. Bobby has gotten a lot better in the last couple of years. Good for him!
Even at the time Dustin beat him, he was pretty good. What's even more impressive is that he's the only person to KO Bobby in the UFC. More people should point this out as a notable win on Dustin's record along with his 1st round KO win over Ferreira(another underrated win from Dustin).Green is really underrated. And even then, that finish over James Krause was bullshit. To be honest, he didn’t starch anyone either before finishing the shell of Iaquinta just now. His last finish was in 2013
But you’re right, he’s a guy that’s very difficult to put away.
I thought the exact same thing. Originally I thought Fiziev won the first 2 rounds but was almost practically dominated and almost finished in the third from gassing.Rewatched this and I thought that I remembered the 3rd round being a complete blow out by Green, it was actually close enough to draw a 30-27 score card for Fiziev, ffs... it’s funny how the biased commentary can sway your memory like that, these commentators are getting really good (or terrible) at trying to make you think you’re watching different than what’s actually occurring
That’s an excellent summation of how I saw it upon my 2nd viewing Sherbro, I’ll add that Fiziev began to slow because he was throwing and landing by far the more damaging strikes, specifically his kicks...I thought the exact same thing. But upon rewatching, the third round was very competitive. Fiziev did slow down compared to the first 2 rounds, but he still did good and the entire round was pretty back and forth. Yes Green did look like the fresher fighter, but he clearly lost rounds 1 and 2 imo, so what does it matter if he was the fresher fighter by the end of the third round if he can't finish his opponent.
Yup. I remember in an interview that Fiziev said he wasted a lot of energy on throwing too hard. I think he will now take a step back and not put everything into every strike. That will help him with his pacing. That’s an excellent summation of how I saw it upon my 2nd viewing Sherbro, I’ll add that Fiziev began to slow because he was throwing and landing by far the more damaging strikes, specifically his kicks...
Bobby was piecing Fiziev up at the end there. Fiziev was lucky it was a 3 rounder.
