Jim Miller returns with the nickname 'A-10' for reasons unknown, riding a two-fight skid having dropped decisions to Vinc Pichel & Joe Solecki back-to-back. At 38, Miller is still a fun fighter and a tough opponent as he proved when he made easy work of Roosevelt Roberts after a slip.

Erick 'Ghost Pepper' Gonzalez comes in with a record of 14-5, and was a mainstay on Combate Americas up until 2021. Gonzalez lost to UFC veterans Humberto Bandenay and Rafa Garcia, but bypasses the DWCS lottery and draws Miller.

Not totally sure how good 'Ghost Pepper' is, but he's definitely fun and should be a good opponent for Miller to try and halt the streak against - otherwise it's probably end of the road for Jim.

EDIT: Original tweet got deleted, but I think Farah reported it first anyway - since confirmed

“Ghost pepper”..

Unless you prove yourself against the gaunlet on “Hot Ones”.. Don’t try to play me son.

Miller should really retire if he loses to Ghost Pepper

I've seen Ghost Pepper once before and he left no impression on me whatsoever.

I was wondering why he hasn't been on any of the weekly Combate cards this year, turns out the UFC wanted him.

Miller was booked to fight Nikolas Motta on the Sept. 18 card, but for the first time in his career, he had to pull out of the fight when he tested positive for Covid.

He is now scheduled to make his 38th walk to the octagon and will face Erick "The Ghost Pepper" (14-5-0) who will making his UFC debut.

The UFC must really like Miller. They always give him relatively easy matchups compared to the other super-long tenured veterans on the roster like Cerrone, Stephens, Guida, etc.

I mean a 38 UFC fight veteran fighting someone making his UFC debut? Lol. He seems like a good dude though. Hope he wins.
