Situations are different. The only way Volk will get respect plus by beating Max again. Nunes is as respected as a WMMA fighter can be many call her the GOAT. She gains nothing by fighting Val again

This is exactly what turns me off about Shevchenko. Crushing cans, but acts like she’s the double champ that has beaten every other UFC BW, and FW champ. She can move back up at any point. But, she just continues to beat ex-SW, and girls so far below her level it isn’t funny.

I think this would be a great fight at this point in both of their careers, whether or not you feel Nunes should fight Shevchenko. Both of them seem to have gotten more vicious and more aggressive since they last met and I don't think a third fight would be anything like their second. Could/should be one of the most exciting WMMA fights ever.

Yeah Schevy is playing second fiddle to Nunes in greatness talks, and she has two losses to her on the record that she'll never get back. Very bitter woman.

Second fight was very close, no question, but the two clearest rounds (1 and 5) were for the champ. At least two of the other rounds were close enough to be open to interpretation.

Shevy lost fair and square and Nunes deserved the victory. Vanquished Val to the weakest division in the UFC, with the exception of WFW. But even WFW, Nunes had to earn that belt by beating a much better opponent than Shevchenko has ever even fought (with the exception of Amanda herself; who beat her twice). And Nunes absolutely smoked the boogeywoman. Legendary shit. Val doesn't like life in the Lioness's shadow.

There is no logical reason for Amanda to take this fight. I think Valentina is better but she had two opportunities prove it. I’d say let’s move on but to what? Rose moving up to 125? Nah. She’d get murdered.
