That fight changed Kos' career. He was never same. He lost fights his skill set should have helped him wrap up. The doctor failed him. Terrible idea not to stop a fight when a guy can't see and has a broken face.

A good recent example is Kattar against Max, where his corner, the doctor and Herb refused to call a TKO when that guy ate enough punches to make most humans punch drunk.

But, yes, the fight should absolutely have been stopped. much more damage done to Kos than a KO ever would have...
 
Well yea but it probably should have been his corner, the doctor is limited in what they can do in that regard.
Cuts are easy because you can see their depth and width, potential breaks on the face can be very difficult.
 
God yes, but more so his corner than the ref. They were my two favorite fighters at the time, what a beating GSP put on him.
