UFC should do bigger entrances like PRIDE. With smoke & lasers, pyrotechnics

They have their own ways of creating an atmosphere. I remember a while back they used to shut the lights off in the stadium and have two spotlights on each fighter as buffer announced them. They stopped doing that for some reason

They don’t even want to fork out on extra bonuses because it eats away at their bottom line, no way they ever got for theatrics.

I am UFC shill if you will. I fully support Dana and thibk fighters get paid enough (I am not pro raising fighter pay). In fact I argue fighters being hungry and not well paid makes the sport more raw and gives us better fights. A rich fat wokt want to fight

But the entrances being bigger could draw more fans if we make it more PRIDE/WWE like

Also, I liked the fighters being on a raised platform, above grubbing touch of the peasantry.

I would be spitting at the peasants

ont: I loved the Pride entrances but I just don't think it fits the UFC so I rather see organizations like ONE do that

Yeah they are halfway there with their nails to the wall announcer

they actually had the legendary pride announcer lady there for a while, don't think they still have her though

Increased Production costs will not buy Dana more snow for his drive way, ya goofs.

Lmao. Isn't this peak money wasting decadence?

Yeah I agree with others here, money savement. The UFC has basicaly zero production on their product. The vlogs before the fights and usualy the press conferencea are kinda nice but other than that zero.

Not enough people attend the events live to warrant the expense.

This isn’t a Klitschko fight in a football arena.

it's kind of incredible how low budget UFC's production is. i can only imagine what Pride was paying for those 20min event intros and shit.

I suspect part of it is Pride was going after a mass TV audience and the big intros probably helped but also I think its something you need to really spend and have good taste on.

Those "big" Tito entrances back in the day just looked really tacky and classless and I suspect from that point on the UFC desided to just stay basic.

Izzy reminded me that we dont need all that.

I kind of like the showmanship but when I watched it originally I just thought 'This is going to be really embarrassing if he loses'.

why do people like this stuff? i think it's so corny and for casuals

mike tyson would come out with the lights on and have super minimal music playing. no hype, no fuss BECAUSE HE WAS THE HYPE. if you need a big entrance, it means you're not interesting.

go watch WWE for big muscle men in little underwear and fireworks
