Lauren's only real path to victory is to try and replicate what brief success Maia had against Shev: holding her down and winning points.

Lauren's a pretty big girl and she used to be a BW. She'll have the strength to pull it off, but probably not the skill. Maia is stronger than Shev and Shev adjusted after losing that one round and spent most of the fight beating Maia the same way Maia had been beating her.

I think Shev will keep it standing and pick Lauren apart though. She'll have a huge advantage there, though Lauren's striking isn't terrible. Don't think Shev is going to stand and trade hard shots with her at all.

Poor Lauren

It's slaughtering for Valentina. Might be similar of Jessica Eye. A not talented fight getting a title shot because of the division. Andraje is a better grappler and she got out grapples. Murphy has just been big which has got her wins.

Murphy seems like a really good and decent person, but I think she is probably the least-deserving fighter to ever compete for a UFC title. Even when she has won, she has looked like an amateur.

I know upsets can happen, but at least when Serra beat GSP, he had some pretty high-level skills. I think even if Valentina is totally off her game, and has her worst performance ever, Lauren still doesn’t have the skills to take advantage.

If Valentina is motivated, easy finish in the first couple of rounds. If she has a bad night, she wins a 50-45 decision, maybe 49-46.
